We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded professional to join our team as the Director of Influencer Marketing. In this role, you will be responsible for developing influencer marketing strategies across all brands and various platforms to drive brand awareness, engagement, and sales. You will lead, manage and grow the influencer marketing team and work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative campaigns, develop growth strategies, and measure and report on the success of our influencer marketing initiatives. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive influencer marketing strategies that align with our overall marketing and business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to the executive team, and making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Develop and maintain the influencer marketing budget; create financial plans for weekly, monthly and quarterly spend targets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment.
- Set and manage internal sales goals for all Influencer Marketing team members.
- Lead and mentor the Influencer Marketing team, providing guidance and fostering their professional growth. Schedule quarterly performance reviews and set goals with all individuals on the team.
- Collaborate with the marketing, social media, and creative teams to develop influencer marketing campaigns that effectively convey our brand messaging and engage our target audience.
- Oversee large-spend influencer marketing campaigns, including content creation, product placements, sponsored posts, and brand collaborations.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging platforms, and influencer marketing best practices, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and keep our strategies competitive.
- Assist the team in crafting and maintaining clear, professional, and effective email communications with agencies and talent to build strong relationships and ensure seamless collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience leading a sales or influencer marketing team, in a leadership role, with a strong track record of developing and implementing successful sales/campaign strategies.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, influencer ecosystems, and emerging trends in the digital marketing landscape.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using data-driven insights to inform decision-making and optimize campaign performance.
- Experience using AirTable for managing influencer campaigns, tracking performance metrics, and maintaining organized workflows.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to develop innovative strategies to engage and resonate with target audiences.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Experience managing budgets of $5M+ and allocating resources effectively.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work independently as well as in a team.
