Job Overview:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Content Strategist to join our dynamic Influencer Marketing team. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes pop culture, stays ahead of social media trends, has a deep understanding of the influencer landscape,and thrives on crafting compelling content. The Video Content Strategist will be responsible for ideating, developing, and approving content for all influencer marketing campaigns, ensuring maximum engagement and virality across social platforms, tailored to each creator’s brand, tone and audience. As part of a fast-growing, woman-led company committed to destigmatizing pleasure, you’ll play a key role in ensuring promotional content resonates deeply with creators and their audiences—delivering impactful and viral campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Ideation: Develop fresh, innovative content ideas tailored to influencer partnerships and campaign goals.
- Content Scripting: Create and collaborate on idea/outline/full script for influencer content to maintain brand messaging while remaining authentic to talent's personality/style, ensuring content will connect with their audience.
- Content Editing: Provide constructive feedback to talent and assist in editing video footage to align with brand and campaign goals.
- Optimization for Social Platforms: Ensure all content is optimized for various social platforms to drive engagement and virality.
- Content Approvals: Review and approve influencer content, ensuring compliance with defined concept, script, brand guidelines, social platform limitations and campaign objectives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Influencer Marketing team to ensure seamless execution and communication of campaign content notes.
- Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform/algorithm updates, and viral content strategies to enhance campaign performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven passion for social media trends and influencer marketing (internship or previous experience preferred).
- Proficiency in CapCut Pro and/or alternate video editing tools. Proficiency with other editing softwares (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) is a plus.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools is a bonus.
- Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
